Hi can anyone tell me what size spline tool fits the hub clamp bolt on the front swivel hub and were to purchase it from cheers

I'm not sure exactly what you are referring to but on my 06 Mk2 1.9PD the hub damper strut pinch bolt is an M14 12 spline.

You'll need other sizes also to remove associated parts, I clean my tools after use but it looks like M6, M8 and M14 have the most notable signs of use.

Most good tool outlets/motor factors should stock VW style tools.

I paid £20 for a 6 piece set on ½" drive.
