HELP! fault code p0102

Featured Replies

just scanned my car and got the fault code p0102

some times my car revs up and down by it self  when it is on idle for a while

and i have also noticed that the asr light comes on sometimes but if i turn off the ignition and restarts the car it disapears

it comes on even if the car is on idle and is not driven  just started and on idle

is this problem caused by the maf???

the car also feels weak and powerless

im starting to think that it is in limpmode due to a faulty maf or because it has an upgrade turbo and 3" downpipe with 200cell cat and has not got remapped yet

You can try unplugging the MAF, & if it runs better the MAF is definitely dead.

okeej might  do that

but the car runs okeej whilst driving it , just feels alot weaker and it is only sometimes when it has been on idle for some time about 3-5 minutes  that the rpms wanders up and down and it doesn't wander much just a little bit
