Door Handles

Having seen the lovely silver painted examples on my "mother-in-common-law's" Fabia Sport, I have enquired as to the cost of parts from Skoda in order that I can adorn my Silver Dream Machine with said Silver handles  (as SUK should really have done in the first place IMHO)

Why not just get some primer, paint and laquer from Halfords and do it on your existing one. Should be able to do it for a shade over

Group buy on spray painting anyone?

I can do colour coded handles for

And this is why I got a black car this time :) (well, one of the reasons)

Had this done, along with rubbing strips on my previous car. Just bought the normal standard parts, took them to a local bodyshop the week before to get painted, then went back the next week to get them fitted. All done on weekends, paid cash, job done

Think it cost me £40 in all, only two handles mind, and that was the final cost after I 'part-exed' my existing ones!

TBH, if it were my silver Fabia, I'd much prefer to have the handles in the body colour, rather than have a shiny cover over them...
