Locking

Abit of a strange one. This morning my dad took my car and said the window was open when he went to it. Abit weird but i thought i might have forgot just popped out to my car again and the drivers windows down and the door lights (the ones on the bottom when its open) was on. I tried to lock the car by the key but nothing happened. Put the key in the door and it only locked the drivers door. Then the window comes back down after about 2mins :s also it trys to lock the doors about 5 times but nothing. my passenger windows broke atm but cant see that would make the car do what it is. So the question where do i start with the window ?
