Ordered our Yeti...

Featured Replies

Marc & Ruth here in Cheshire.

So, we've ordered our Yeti, for delivery in May (not due to backlog, it's a fleet car).

L&K with options - it's remarkable value compared to the current car (Audi A3). The only real downside is the lamentable lack of interesting colours - they're all a bit old-man unless you go for the Monte Carlo: and if you spec that up to be the same as the L&K it actually comes out dearer!

So we've gone for the petrol blue as the least-worst option.

While I'm on....

There seem to be gazillions of roof-bar options. Are the OEM ones worth the 144 quid?

Or are we better off with one of the many third-party products?

Any strong recommendations?

Any definite no-nos?

Welcome aboard. You should post these questions on the yeti section rather than the welcome area. Most yeti owners don't seem to venture beyond the yeti area so won't see your questions here :-)

Hi Marc & Ruth & welcome to the forum. As Domhnall says it's best to post in the Yeti part of the Forum.... One of the moderators may well move it for you.

I have a Yeti and checked out roof bars. I did a deal with the dealer for the correct bars.... Contact your salesman and ask him for a quote... Don't be afraid to ask! He will have an accessories target so will probably be happy to discount them for you. The thing to remember is the rails are quite wide so if you get "me toos" make sure they fit correctly and won't damage the rails.
