Hi all

My rear bearings are getting noisey

I have seen the FAG ones from ecp. Are there any guides or things I need to know before I tackle replacing them.

I read that something might need pressing but they are old threads and nothing read recently.

I have a 2007 se vrs I need to do this on

Iirc they unbolt from the rear and bolt back in... Will check now to familiarise myself with them.

Edit: hmm nope, think it's one large multi spline bolt or large multi spline nut and it should pop out, nice easy job

The only part that can be a pain is if the inner race is stuck tight on the shaft.

In the second pic in the link above you can see the inner race has stayed on the shaft and the bearing has pulled off,sometimes these either need some heat to get them off,or very carefully slice them off with a angry grinder
