hi does anyone know if the hubs ment to have a stop for the strut on the mk1 octavia 4x4, i was in the process of electrolysis rust removal and noticed its either not got one or has rotten away, the hub was incredibly rusty i was suspecting the previous owner must have taken it in the sea a few time...

The stop is on the damper.

was going to say  I can't see anything on the drawing of the hub,  but beaten to it,  what do you use for electrolyte I've used washing soda,   a carbon anode seems to keep the froth down  what's you experiences?
