Webasto telestart T91 / parring / fuse location

Recommended Posts

I recently bought a SuperB 2010 elegance with a Webasto auxiliary heater installed (from the factory I guess). After months of use the remote (telestart T91) started to flash green quickly for two seconds indicating that the signal was not received by the heater or that the heater is locked.

I have hovered the web to find the right solution to this, first trying to find the Webasto fuse box in the engine compartment - nothing there which is why I assume that the car was born with the heater. I then found that some VAG owners have had luck removing the fuse for the auxiliary heater RC transmitter but in my cars fuse layout there is no indication of a RC transmitter. (info from here: http://www.vwbus.no/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=34670&sid=bc06c7cc6715b16b4dd3bc5371741c38&start=25)

No 9, no fuse installed, no 40 no fuse installed. Could it be no 25? Is it okay to just try one out or do I risk anything?

Finally, as noted in this manual from webasto, (http://www.techwebasto.com/redirect/heater_main/907512.pdf) the heater may go into "lockout mode": " After 3 consecutive unsuccessful startup attempts, the heater will lock itself out from any further start attempts."

In one line I dont know what to do, its freezing outside and Im afraid to **** something up.

Hope that one of you bright guys can help me.

Regards from denmark
