Satnav Update £250?

Hello Yetites, Not sure on spelling for that one...

I have a 63 plate yeti adventure and think I have the standard satnav with the small screen (admusden maybe?)

some postcodes cant be found in it so I asked my dealer and he said £250 for update? I this correct does anyone know?

I already have navigon on my phone but would have been nice to have my built in one up to date Sadly not..

Press and hold the "Setup" button for 10 seconds, and then select "Versions". Write down the various maps and software options/part numbers etc. listed in there and post them up here.

The admundsun updates are expensive and the SD cards can only be used once (so no copies available on ebay as there is for the columbus) but have seen them for half that price before - maybe just need to shop around.

Only had the car 5 weeks would have thought they would have updated it before I purchased.

You should have explained that you already have the hardware and repeated you just wanted a simple map update.

What sort of world are they living in?.

No, they don't do free updates on the Amundsen Plus units due to the cost. I have an Amundsen unit similar to yours with V4 maps on it, and I just updated mine today to V8...
