I have a 7000 mile old Fabia vRS on which the clutch pedal rubber studs (that stick through the metal cover) have come off on the left half of the pedal. The studs have literally broken off, not worn out. Anyone else had this?

hmmm haven't noticed it, and up to 17,000 miles so far... I'll ave a look tomorow

If you do a search you will see this has been covered before, phone up your local stealer, and get a price, but be warned, sit down when you get the price.

Thanks for the replys folks. The rubber has not worn, but has broken, so I would expect a warranty replacement. Worn would be fair wear and tear, however, in such a low mileage I would argue unfit for purpose. Maybe they will claim misuse "well of course it will break if people keep standing on it".

Hold out for a warranty replacement - you'll get one if you stick to your guns.
