Suncream on paint

Featured Replies

Mmmmmm.......

I removed suncream marks for a client not long ago

He couldn't get rid of them..A light machine polish followed by wax ....... and they never came back

So only the top couple of microns of clear coat were affected

Thanks for posting this...Its interesting and informative and one to think about for the summer months....If we have any sun!!!!

Suncream marks usually removed easily with a light polish.

For the new car and going forward - make sure you have the car well protected, sealant, wax, etc.

Also - if all else fails.... keep a packet of wet wipes in the glove box and make sure kids/adults can wipe their hands as and when required
