Wheel size 2009 1.2 htp v 2013 1.2 tsi

Featured Replies

Can anyone tell me for sure if my 2009 1.2 htp Fabia 2 has the exact same dimension wheels (ET) as my 2012 Fabia se estate 1.2 tsi?

They both run 195/55R15 tyres on 6Jx15 alloys, 2009 has antares alloys and the 2012 has rotare alloys, but are the offsets the same?

I need to swap them over to get the all seasons on the estate asap.

Thanks.

I can't give you an immediate answer but if you have the time then remove one of each wheels and the offset should be stamped on the inside of the alloy.

Rotare's are showing as 16 inch?

Wheel dimensions: 6.5J x 16“, ET43

You can see all wheel models available for the Fabia and their sizes on that site.

I couldn't find the 15" Rotare on that site, maybe they have stopped them, they were standard on the SE and Greenline apparently.

Anyway, I searched eBay and found a couple of sets advertised all claiming 6J 15 ET 43 so that would match the Antares on the site 2SE linked to. So, they should be fine to just switch.

Where is George?

Thanks for the info chaps, I'll check to see whats stamped on the inside as suggested by jonro when I swap.

People seam to be missing the point here. Either that or I am.

Anyway, OP, just swap them over, the offset isn't going to cause any problems. They are both the same car and they will both cope perfectly well with each set of wheels.

You're getting very sharp and snappy lately haha :D.

Yeah, sorry but I seam to be constantly doing something and having things on my mind at the minute, Snetterton crash was a load of hassle and worry, been painting wheels etc and I haven't had time to do anything or think about anything. I usually try not to be too sharp ;)

No worries mate. Hope everything works out! (:

Its coming together, car is back in one piece and the repair is paid for, the new painted calipers, bulbs and aux cover were fitted today, 2 of the wheels now have their first coat of lacquer. So not long now and hopefully everything will be back to normal and I'll have time to think again. :D
