Not sure if anyone can help, I've posted in the wanted section but had no luck!

I'm fitting my xenons soon so want the headlight washers to go with them, I'm struggling to find any for sale at all and not sure what other models will fit.

I want to keep the pop up style washers not the type that stick on the bumper permanently.

Had anybody fitted some from a different car or have any for sale?

Not sure if the bumper itself is different, the washers fix onto the inside of the bumper and then extend through the cutout.

 

I've got my bumper off the car, i'll try and get a pic tonight to show what I mean.

 

Also not sure how the coding of the headlamp washers work, as they will only was with the headlights on obviously, and then only the 6th or so wash of the screen

Programming and fitting is fine, I should manage both of those although I do expect a fight for fitting them

The ones off the Ibiza FR should do the job. Mine pop up and out like a pair of inquisitive robots. I suspect they're rare as rocking horse poo used. There are a few ibiza being broken on ebay atm, whether they have headlight washers or not I don't know.

Do they have to be the pop-up ones? Might be worth scavenging some ordinary ones from another model.

Fabia, Ibiza or polo, whichever fit I'm happy!

Yeah I want the factory pop up ones, don't like the stick on ones and want the OEM look so not sticking some washer jets from another bonnet on, not yet anyway

Other than the fact that they may or may not be required I don't think I've ever needed to use mine. In Fact the only time they have ever been used was when I first got the car and wondered how they worked, the only other times is when I've accidentally held onto the windscreen washer stalk too long.

I can confirm they fit to the bumper. Clipped onto the crash bar then two screws into the bumper. I suspect you will need a new bumper unless you can find a way to mount them.

Mounting them is fine, I can sort all that, fabricate brackets etc

I'll try and get a picture of the inside of the bumper this weekend, not had chance yet

Got the pictures of the inner bumper, as you can see there's quite a difference between the standard vRS bumper and the Factory Xenon bumper, with a complex moulding that the washers mount into.

 

 

 

 

I don't think you'd be able to mount the OE headlamp washers without the proper bumper

On a serious note i think I'll just get the covers and stick them on the bumper... Abit rubbish really but it's the look I want with minimum hassle!
