electric windows again

Featured Replies

can get my electric windows working by removing a fuse and replacing it but when i close the door and lock it then open it again there dead .have to pull the fuse again. is it the door lock that is the problem telling the windows to lock for security but somehow its not telling them to actvate them again when you open the car .

do i need to get one from skoda dealer or is their a cheaper alternatve

It's either new or second hand, that's the two choices really.

New will be quite expensive I'd imagine. Second hand around £30'ish.

thanks for your help

Thought you can get the full carrier and motor new off eBay (poss ecp) for 30-40 quid?

Edit-my bad, thought it was the whole she-bang, seemingly they are without motor if buying new.

its the temic controller i need the motor is fine . just got to get the right one

I was lucky. I managed to pick up a motor from a written off se localish to me for £20. If the electric door mirrors are working fine its likely to be the drivers side motor with the control pcb on top.

door mirrors are fine so is the central locking not goin to buy a new one  just have to keep a look out for a second hand one
