Boot lid

Featured Replies

I've tried to find the post with a discussion about this as I can't remember the out come...

Can you close the boot remotely? Or is it via the boot itself only? I seem to remember a post saying somebody had managed it...

Standing not to far from behind the car with the KESSY key, I believe you can close the boot lit using the Trunk button on the keys (press and hold)

The above works for me

Ah ok, kessy required.

It has been done on the MkIII Octavia. I recoded our non KESSY vRS to kill the silly health and safety beeps, as well as enable open/close from the interior button and via the middle button on the fob.

As the Superb is such a new model, there's still doubt as to whether it's possible to do this. Only time will tell as people pick through the car's coding options.

I've not got KESSY but can close the boot by holding the key button.

EDIT: Scrub that, I swear I could close the boot on the key when I first got the car but will it work tonight, will it eck as like!!

Interesting - what exact model do you have?

It is possible to turn the beeps off but not to close by using the interior button ... yet (maybe never??)
