passenger footwell water

Featured Replies

Anit started or been to my car for a week or soo. Today i went to start it and there was a pond of water in the front passenger footwell. Yes ponddd. Water has been getting in some how. Plzz help

Possibly your door seal behind the window regulator. Open the door when its been raining and run your hand along the internal door card and see if its damp.

if not check your scuttle pannel for leaves and rubbish from summer.

There are a few possible entry points. Door carriers being the most common that will need sealing up. Plenum drains are worth checking but generally don't give to much issue on the Fabia. Does the car have a sunroof?

Not door seal . Either blocked drainage or i did take a wire from d tape to the battery for my bass box behind the glove box. Any of them ???

If your door card is wet then it's the seal behind the door card (inside the door) that goes around the metal plate. You'll need to take the door card off, dry off the panel and seal it with some silicon sealant.

Did you run the wire through the grommet and seal it up afterwards?

Seal the door card, it worked for me on the rear doors.
