I'm a newbie on here & don't really know how this site works as yet as I have struggled before so please bare with me....... I have recently purchased our VRS Octavia mk II estate & we (my little boy & I) are absolutely in love with her (she is known as the blue beastie she has a few mods too) however I have a couple of concerns in changing some of her characteristics via VAG, she has just undergone a major service & a fresh MOT on a service plan at the Skoda Northampton branch. However, a good friend of mine changed some codes on his phone's software that worked great (auto window closure & open during long press on remote) also (convenience timed arming during no door opening 20 seconds alarm sounds) (which is doing my head in) however when we took her in for this service we now have a bit of a problem. We have seemed to have lost the window closure via remote & they couldn't remove the now inconvenience timed alarm on door opening.

 

When speaking with the head mechanic he admitted that they can only do so much at the Skoda garage with their own software etc as he did try 'all' he could apparently. He went onto mentioned they will have to dive deeper at a cost of 65£ for a full diagnostic yet could not guarantee they could change anything.

 

He mentioned VAGCOM as they could maybe dive deeper than they could.

 

Is there anyone that can recommend to us in our region to be a reliable VAGCOM specialist that will not be expensive in or around northampton that can sort out our problems please.
