My skoda fabia sdi is kicking out blueish smoke what is the problem? I drove it the other day and cut out at a junction then failed to start, got it started next day with jump start but sounds like miss fire and blueish smoke kicking out once started although cleared after 5 mins

Have you checked engine oil?

If it was Deffo blue smoke it's burning oil,if it was more white than blue it's possibly fuel related.

Possibly the egr valve stuck open.

Or timing out/slipped

You haven't been thru any deep water recently have you ?
