Restored my synthetic Adams Wash Pad

Featured Replies

Had my wash pad a couple of years now and it has been fab. But it has gotten really matted up and felt very coarse to the touch. So I thought it was time for a replacement, until Ste told me about combing it!!

So I got SWMBOs brush out and got to work. It got it a lot better!

So then out came the comb. Took a lot of the matt fibres out and it is now nice and fluffy again, ready for use. Saved myself a few quid!! Thanks for the advice, Ste!!

Excellent - nice one Neil - glad that worked well on the Adam's wash mitt.

I picked it up on one of the other detailing forums; a typical symptom esp if you put it in the washing machine.

I still have mine on long term test; i must admit it is great value for money

I must admit, I can see it lasting another year now, Ste. I've just dug out our old pet brush and that has made it even better still.

A nice easy job while watching the cBeebies this morning. Haha.

Likewise - a decent pet/dog brush is the way forward - works very well....

No kids today - so we are cBBC free for a change  :giggle:

How is the Adams wash pad holding up Neil?

I've been asked a few times this past week or 2 for wash pad/mitt recommendations.

Still not found much better than this for the price really.

The forensic detailer likes them!

He certainly does. I'm really enjoying his YouTube channel.

Great review in the QD options uploaded yesterday.

Looking forward to the wax blending and testing due soon too. :)

Holding up well ta Ste. Just give it a combing with a pet brush every now and then and it's back up and running. Can't see it needing replacing!!

Forensic detailer? Not heard of that, I'll have a gander on YouTube later!
