It's not on winters as its a recent purchase but looks like it will only be a light dusting.

All snow and vrs related pics or stories welcome.

Stay safe and sensible out there folks.

Its been very heavy snow here, although I have winter tyres on. But the Vrs has been awesome to drive in the snow. So much Better than my wife's juke

Took mine out earlier. Couple of little slips but nothing major!!

mine is fine, but on winter tyres..... if you are worried about braking, change down with the paddles for engine braking.

Mines brilliant in the snow with the winters on, had the tcs flash at me on the dash a few times but nothing exciting.

Yup in two years of owning her I've not had to drive on snow/ice. Little nervous if being honest! Also standard tyres.

I'm at work and use my car for my job so haven't got a choice but to drive :-p. I'll let you know.

I'm not at work until gone 10 tomorrow so the roads should be fine by then. Not that worried but the kumho's on the front are rubbish so can't imagine they will fair better in snow!!

Hand breaked it in a diner carpark this afternoon and it did fine. The girlfriend went mad though. Other than that, slow and steady, easy. Good drive as ever.

Just drove home from the mrs's.

Few large hills to negotiate. No issues on normal tyres. Drove in manual mode and used engine breaking like I used to in a manual car. Drove normal as I'm not into tootling along.

Friend however with a RWD suffered!

Mine was terrible in the snow, so I went and bought some winter tyres and now it's great

Mine was crap last year on summer tyres I couldn't get anywhere in the snow. But I've bought some £135 sunny 3830 winter/ditch finder tyres to try out now

Well I made it with out a problem but the roads were pretty clear. My street was a bit rubbish but no cause for concern.

Tyres are the key, the car is secondary ;)

That really isnt as silly as it sounds!

To an extent.

My mates 320bhp Skyline GTST (the 2.5 rear wheel drive one) was absolutely useless even with winters on. Shockingly bad. Urgh, i hate pushing..

You are right except that driver ability is always the most important thing.

That's not to say you need to be some sort of Colin McRae behind the wheel but keeping calm and a basic understanding of car control will make the world of difference, with out that it doesn't matter what tools are at your disposal, you are going to struggle.

Mashing your foot in the throttle gets you nowhere :D

I wonder what the tyres are here:

Mine is behaving perfectly fine. We've had 3 weeks of snow and -20 degrees. The tail lets go a bit in roundabouts, traction control is working overtime, and ESP has even being woken to life on a few occations. All of those occations were induced by handbraking, mind. I wish I could turn it on and off easily.

Just a Vid found on Youtube.

Red Bull may have to pay a £23,000 fine for allowing Max Verstappen to drive a Toro Rosso F1 car with snow chains on a ski slope at Kitzbuhel.
