Installing a subwoofer

Hi guys and girls just wondering if anyone can help me. I want to install a subwoofer in my 2007 octavia vrs it has a bolero head unit is there a way that I could use that head unit with the sub and how.

Not sure how you would sort out the remote switch

Would need a thick power cable and earth fitting also

Thanks I've already got the the power cables and stuff and just ordered the converter off that link. Just need to find out what to do with the remote

You might want to consider a different convertor such as these:

No idea of the quality but both include a remote wire for the amp. The more expensive one seems to be exactly what you need :)

it uses the output from the speakers

Just be aware that some are designed to replace the rear speakers whilst others can be used in parallel with them.

you can get models which have a remote and sense voltage through the speakers to activate the remote.

Alternitavely you could fit a switch or use an ignition live and a fuse tap from the fuse box at the drivers side of the dash
