05 Octavia Price...

Featured Replies

Thinking about selling my Octavia Classic Estate (MK2), but I don't really have a clue what kind of price I'm looking to sell it for! :S. It's a silver 55 plate (December 2005) and it's the 1.6 MPI petrol version with 92k miles on the clock. It's all in good condition apart from a couple of minor dents and a chip on the passenger side (clumsy supermarket shoppers!). The timing belt and water pump were changed at 72k and it's also had a recent service (oil & filters) along with pads & discs all round, 2 rear callipers and a new catalytic converter. It has a full years MOT and full service history from Skoda and a couple of other garages including my local Volks Workshop (highly rated). 2 previous owners.

Anyone have a ballpark figure? It's the estate model and everything is working as it should.

Cheers :notme:

Stick your reg number in here first as a rough ball park figure...

https://www.webuyanycar.com/

Then check out Autotrader, eBay Motors or Piston Heads for similar cars currently for sale.

Not identical to your car as it is an FSI but it is an estate and it is a Classic.

It is one year younger but has done 10,000 more miles so these will outweigh each other.

It is currently advertised for £2,000, but this is unsold and with a trader who will have some margin in it...

Thanks for the response! I was hoping around £1500 would be OK. That "we buy any car" car site is a joke and offered £865! Even my insurance company value it at just over £2000... Not sure where either get their figures from though?

I'll try my luck at around £1500 and see what happens :)
