Mk2 Fabia vRS handling upgrades

Featured Replies

I currently have a H&R RARB and have got the car booked in at AMD to have the Bilstein B12 kit fitted. I'm obviously having alignment done too, but is there anything else worth upgrading? Bushes? I know there's a couple of brands of these, but would these need doing also or add anything to the set up?

You could have the wishbones done along with the dog one mount but with a diesel bush in it, it's softer.

I can recommend upgrading the lower engine mount (dogbone) bush. I've tried 3 of the different options to get it perfect for me, with the following results.

Vibratechnics: Best engine location, easiest to fit, best improvement in feel during acceleration. FAR too much vibration for daily use.

Powerflex (Diesel): Improved engine location, not bad to fit, slight improvement in feel during acceleration, no increase in vibration from OEM.

Powerflex (Petrol): Improved engine location, just as easy to fit as the diesel bush, noticeable improvement in feel during acceleration, no noticeable increase in vibration from OEM.

These were all fitted to my Monte Carlo 1.2 TSI.
