Take the bulb out and blow hot air from a hairdryer into the headlight and also heat the glass up which will clear it off the glass. The bigger problem to be addressed is stopping the water getting in which will involve removing the light unit and applying silicone around where the glass meets the reflector. That is almost certainly where it will be getting in unless you are missing the rubber boot round the back of the bulb.

It took the rubber backing piece off while fitting a bulb got stressed out and left it over night and finished fitting it in the morning and then put the rubber back on.

I'd just dry the unit out, then, and see if it happens again. Quite possible you got damp in there overnight.

Yeah id try it out with a hair dryer.

Could just leave the cap off for a few days whilst its parked if it was nice weather, but theres not much chance in this is there :D

Make sure you put the rubber cap back on properly and see how it goes.

I left the cap off for a few hours and most seams to have gone. Al use a dryer when im home.

If it happens just a small amount, you could try a bag of silica gel like you get in shoe boxes etc. Tie or tape it discreetly inside the light and shove the cap back on.
