Wipers on all the time

Help

On the way to work this morning my wipers will no turn off the only way they seam to stop is if I push the stalk forward to operate the rear wiper? My questions is? Is this the stalk that needs replacing or an electrical issue? Thanks all

Possibly rear wiper fault try pulling fuse 27 iirc that will kill the power to the rear wiper and should make the fronts work normally. Fourth fuse up on the far right 15 amp.

Yuo. Mine did the same thing about 10months back. Pull the fuse for rear washer and it will srop the fault, but allow fronts to work normally.

In answer to question- its the motor in the rear unit has suffered internal corrosion where the water pipe runs up throught the axis of the motir. Water leaks out of pipe and into motor internals causimg a few different faults depending on where the water ends up.
