Radio mute

Featured Replies

Hi all after a bit of help. I have a pioneer da120 in my car with steering wheel controls connected, when I push the mute button it only turns the volume down it goes quiet but you can still hear it its called ATT don't know what that means. There is a setting on the head unit to turn mute to mute att or off I have tried all options but no joy. I'm assuming that the cable that's in the back of the unit that says mute needs to be connected to something but haven't got a clue to what can anyone help?

In the world of audio levels ATT generally stands for attenuation (Think the opposite of amplification :D )

dont know lol ill i know is on the back of the radio there is a wire that is not connected to anything with a tag on it that says mute would anyone know what wire i would connect that to on the harness?

I wouldn't connect it to anything.

I believe it's normally used if you install a phone kit, that way when you get a phone call it can mute the stereo.
