How to log Group 11 with VCDS-LITE (Registered)

Featured Replies

Well, i got this all installed and have already

1. Single click open/close all doors

2. Anti-hijack (auto lock at 10mph)

3. Open all doors when key removed from ignition.

I will soon be getting a remap, so want to log turbo boost etc, but not sure how i go about it.

Can someone help with this :)

Logged it, looked on hidden-power for a guide to do it.

Does this look fine, boost seems lower at start, but soon actual boost is constantly higher than the specified boost....

Logged in 3rd gear from idle to redline on WOT, needless to say that i was surprised when i glanced at my speedo and saw the speed i was doing (70MPH+).

It's normal for boost being low in bottom of the rpm range because turbo needs certain level of exhaust gases to spool up. Normally logging is done from 1500 rpm for that reason so don't be bothered with it.

As you said, there is overboost all the way to the redline. This is caused by the turbos actuator rod length being too short - duty cycle should be around 70% at 4000rpm, yours is 85%. There is another great guide on john's website (hidden power) about this http://www.hidden-power.co.uk/guides/vnt-turbocharger-setup/.
