Yes, but from inside the car when moving @ 1st and 2nd from 1000 to 2500 rpm

Test drive one at a dealers

Or Search youtube for a video.

Maybe its a result of the 'fast' gear changes you mention in the other thread?

No MK 2 on the market, only MK 3, one youtube i founde only 3 videos and on the streets i noticed that plenty of other cars make the same noise or even higher like Polo, Fiest, ....
