Infotainment and battery disconnection.

Featured Replies

Having just purchased a new Fabia 1.0S can anyone confirm that if I were to disconnect the battery on the car for any reason that the infotainment system would still work on re-connection.

On my previous Mk1 Fabia disconnecting the battery required me to input a security code before the radio would work properly again.

Is it the same with the Mk3  Fabia with it's infotainment system (Swing) or is this not required as I do not seem to have been supplied with a radio security code with the vehicle documentation?

Should be fine.

The security codes are stored in the car these days. It remembers itself.

On the mk2 its stored in the cluster, but might be elsewhere on the mk3.
