Heater temeperature issue

Heater issues

Hi, I have a Skoda Fabia 2003 2litre wagon. The heater delivers full heat regardless position, what can the issue be?

Thanks!

Motorised flaps - scan time. Mine gives an error message as the rotary control does not effect heat over top 50% of setting, its all or nothing. If you have ignition on but engine not running, wind heater control from hot to cold and back, you should heat a click.

Thanks for your swift reply Keith, i will test this. Changing those 'flaps' is that something a guy like me, not being the smartest tool in the toolbox can do?

Not changed mine, just put up with it as I can get it cold - just no in-between hot or cold. VCDS can actually re-calibrate them I believe.

The heater reset is easy to do, as follows.

08 Heater/A.C
04 Basic settings
Channel 000
001
002

When it goes into a channel let it run until the numbers stop moving. The numbers mean the flap is moving from one stop to the other. Should at the end read 0. Then clear any fault codes.
