New to this forum.

My 2013 1.4 TSi VRS developed a fault with the LH sidelights staying on - flat battery etc.

 

Checked the comfort function by neutralising the indicator stalk, but LH F+R lights remain on with the key out, rotary light switch off & car open or locked.

And the amber dash bulb warning light is also on.

The only way to extinguish the F+R external lights is to remove fuse-23.

 

I'd really appreciate any advice you can offer.

So it is your Parking Lights staying on.

Working as should be when Lights off and car ignition off, car locked.

 

 Front and rear sidelight and left number plate light.  Usually on if the indicator stalk is left on,

and the right ones come on if the stalk is the other way.

 

So if the stalk is not down and set as Parking Light, i have no idea sorry.

You need someone that understands electrics.  Hopefully someone will be along.

Is one Number Plate light also on.?
