Fabia II VRS Rear Disks

Featured Replies

I have a "problem" with my rear disks.

If you look at the photo attached you can see that there is a large lip around the outside of the disk.

The lip is approx. 20% of the outer portion of the disk.

Is my car unique, or is this a common thing on the VRS?

I have had the car for 4 years ( bought second hand at 15 months old).

Obviously the car has been main dealer serviced but they have never commented on the disks.

Thoughts and comments please...

Common,

i had a new set on every year in 4 years.

Lots of winter salt on roads, car sitting about, but the brakes work OK, just look bad.

Ferodo are a good replacement, work well, last looking better than many others, and brake well enough. IMO.

4 Discs and pads for all around the car are £140 or less.
