Well today in normally sunny Devon, we have had some pretty major rainfall. Approx 80mm where I live.

Pretty much every road became a river, and the extra ground/water clearance on the Scout has been a big help!

New purchase justified!

I was on holiday a few years back in Lynmouth where we experienced the only rain to ever make me pull over and wait for it to stop.  It was astonishing - never seen anything like it, before or since.
