Bolero upgrade

Featured Replies

Hi,

Purchased my fabia in october so its MY16. Choose Style trim with 1.2TSI 90HP. Loving it so far. It came with infotaiment swing. I was wondering if there is a possibility to change the system to Boleroand add smartlink. I would like to use the CarPlay with my iphone. Is this a possibility?

Probably possible with some coding, but its going to be expensive. Maybe £700?

And a change of the dashboard. The slot for the radio drive isn't there.

Might aswel get a superior aftermarket unit if you're spending that much tbh.

They do more and sound loads better.

If theres an OEM looking one available for the mk3 yet.

Are you sure? Usually only the trim panel around the HU is different.

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out how to remove the stock swing radio with the 5" touchscreen in the dash. How did you do it? I removed the big long plastic trim that runs almost the whole length from the passanger side to the deriver side door form the dash but there were no screws under it. The plastic collar around the radio seems to be on by some other mean that just plastic latches and the round dial buttons are on top of it and would require them to be removed first. I think there must be some clever way that I have just not understood. See this figure for reference: http://www.autosworldblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/2015-new-skoda-fabia-mk3-specifications-23.jpg

Thanks
