I have recently bought a 2012 yeti with the amundsen system from a local Skoda dealer. After hunting them for the correct sd card the first two of which could not be read at all by my system. I have now recieved what at first seems the correct sd card. In demo mode all maps are present for my local area but when i try to navigate the system simply doesnt know where i am. Help please guys really stuck with this one.

It sounds like it could be the GPS aerial on the roof failed.

If you do not try to set a destination and drive with the map showing is it showing anywhere near where you are?

 

Or are the maps not showing on the screen at all.

I think you need to visit the dealer and get them to show you it working so they can see what's wrong and fix it as I'm sure it came with a warranty.
