Cold air intake (induction kit)

Featured Replies

So it's Sunday been looking around the car for other mods to do and been liking the idea ant has done with the induction kit turning the battery ect well I thought about moving the battery into the boot to give more room for the intake but had a look at were it would pull its cold air from and there isn't anywhere hardly any room what so ever.

So started looking about for some space for a good air feed loads of room between front bumper and radiator but no room to get past radiator to filter housing so is it worth getting a induction kit if it's limited on air it can pull in.

Oh also the intake pipe for the turbo is tiny reduces in size as it comes round the engine

That's what I mean is it worth spending £300 on a induction kit when it only gets the same air intake as the standard intake

I think the proper intake kits for these cars do have proven gains so just up to you if you want to spend the money or not.
