Fabia Headlight Fitting

Featured Replies

Gave up on trying to fit my upgraded bulbs last weekend, light was fading by the time I got out to the car

I know from other threads that the fitting can be a pain, whether it's a Fabia with Xenons or not (I'm not so equipped). I did have a little look at the offside lamp and there didn't look much room :( Would it be reasonable to remove the headlight or at least move it forward to make the access easier? Or is this just not worth attempting? If that was done would it make much difference to the light alignment once the units were fitted back in place, i.e. would the headlights need to be realigned?

Just pondering, before I give the change-over another whirl this w/e...

The bumper needs to come off for the headlight to come out Steve. To change the light bulb the battery box side comes off, pretty easily actually.
