Speedo Cluster

Featured Replies

Afternoon all.

Can anyone tell me if its possible to just change the speedo cluster on a 52 plate Fabia or does it need to be linked to the ECU?

Cheers.

Colin

It's locked to the car, so you need the 4 digit car code and the 4 digit cluster code to make it work. The car will be immobilised unless it's all coded in. The cluster code is on the cluster (obviously) and you'll either have the car code on the factory key fob or you'll need to get someone to read it out for you with a software tool.

You can have the immobiliser removed from ecu

You can have the immobiliser removed from ecu

Do you mean totally disabling it?

You can disable the immobiliser but for the money that would cost he could just recover the car code and get it programmed properly.

Speak to EddieNL he did my golf

For a man that's had his car stolen you make some ridiculous suggestions! Fabia isn't exactly a fortress to get into as it is

hmmm yeh stolen with the key like anyone if they got your key they got your car and its got dead locks and you can't bend the door like a saxo so its pretty secure also I have a cobra anti jack alarm on mine didn't say to do it but said it can be done

If the OP is in Derbyshire then Shark wouldn't be a very long way away - they're in Mansfield.
