Door lock part numbers

Featured Replies

Hi, can anyone help? Have problems with n/s/f door lock on 54 reg vRS.  Would like to know how to find out what part number the door lock is?  Would like to order a new one and replace it before the old one goes completely.  Are the locks on ebay any good?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

There are several different locks depending on age etc. Might be best to call a dealer/TPS.

I guess the car has remote central locking?

If so I think it will be the second to last (1) in the list on this page, 3B2837015AM.

As above though, if you want guaranteed correctness, see your local parts counter person.

Hi, yes it does have remote central locking. Will give dealers a call tomorrow.

Thanks for your help.

What ever you do, avoid the cheap £30 units off eBay. I recently had to replace my passenger side and fitted one of these units. Unfortunately the anti-hijack system doesn't work so when I do a single click on my fob, the passenger unlocks as well. We spent ages looking through VACOM and couldn't figure it out. After a bit of searching it seems these cheap units are "dumb" units which can't be programmed, they just copy what ever the drivers side is doing. After looking on the sellers page the listed OEM number was different as well.

HTH so you don't buy the wrong unit. That being said I've yet to find a new unit under £100 that will replace the current model :(

Hi, i think it will be a new one from the dealers. Been quoted £163.00. anyone know where i can get it cheaper?  Will be replacing soon as I also spotted water coming in through the door panel.

Email [email protected] and see what price Michael can do on it. See link at top of page "Skoda car parts"

TPS is another option if there's one near you that deals with Joe Public.
