Electric windows

Featured Replies

Hi, just wondering if anyone has a electric window circuit diagram. None of my windows work! When you press the buttons all sides click, which suggests the solenoids are getting power, but no windows go up or down. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Justin

By bump, do you mean give it a good whack lol

No, i mean bump as in i put youtlr unanswerd thread back on top of the stack :D

Could be a bad connection meaning they are getting power but can't draw enough current to move. I would take the door card off and unplug the motor and confirm your getting 12v+ when you press the switch. Then plug the motor back in and try and get the meter probes in the back of the connector and see what voltage you are getting

Thanks guys, sorry for the late reply too.

Finally got round to checking the switches, after probing round I can't find any pin on the drivers window motor that reads 12v when the passenger window switch is opperated from the drivers door panel, but I have found the pins for all other Windows. Would this cause all windows to stop working?
