Noticed that my interior light drivers side stopped working this morning so popped the cover off and replaced the 501 bulbs with led bulb. Never realised there is a festoon bulb in the middle as this has never worked.

I checked the bulb and the filament is intact. Any ideas why it's not working?

Does it come on when you open the other doors?

No just the outer lights it's the middle one that doesn't come on

They have always worked when opening doors and unlocking car. Also when ignition turned off. They go out when you lock the car.

Also all the courtesy/puddle lights all work

Have you tried another festoon bulb in it?

That's my next step

I will have a measure and buy one the same size

If everything else is working as it should I would say bulb.
