Just putting 215/40/R17 on 17" standard pegasus octy alloys on my Furby vRS, guy at garage thinks they will rub when on full lock, is this the case or are they ok, the car is not lowered... help my missus is at the garage now...!!:eek:

Tyres are Khumo Ecstas 712's cheap and cheerful i know...:o

They should be OK IMO.

They are on now, thanks for your reply chowy, and they just fit, must be careful going up kerbs at speed on full lock... as if i'd do that anyway...!!

I've had 215/40/ 16's fitted for about 6 months now.So far no problems.

I had 215/40/17 on 7.5x17" Alloys......................No Problem
