Hello all, can anyone advise which LED lamps can be used as a direct replacement for my DRL's, without triggering the lamp fail indicator. The current lamps are standard 21W ones, fitted within the fog light enclosure. I'm not fussed about colour temperature and the like, its just that being on continuously the standard incandescent lamps don't last too long.

Got these in mine and are error free and very bright.

Don't go for the cheap Chinese copies as they're fakes!

Are they too bright R1chard? 

 

I had ones before I purchased from HIDDirect, they lasted around 2.5 years but failed recently on me. Have put in the original set again. 

 

Have you got a picture of what they look like? 

Standard 21w OEM Bulbs are liable to still be working years on beyond any replacement after market bulbs you fit as an upgrade.

I wouldn't class them as too bright, there is different versions of the Cree bulb with various amounts of led's in them.

I don't have any photos to hand sorry

I put 80W Cree bulbs in mine, very impressive
