As I await delivery of my VRS I just wanted to check what I need to connect(hard wire) my iPhone in order to utilise the Smart Link. Will I need to purchase a cable or will one come included? My wife's beetle and previous audi both came with a variety of connecting cables,Mobutu haven't read anywhere whether the Skodas do? And if I do need to source one I want the best recommendation. Your standard iPhone charging cable is all you need as the connection is USB. You don't get a cable with the car though so you may want to buy a spare in preparation for the cars arrival.

You don't need an apple cable, but make sure you buy an apple certified cable.  Plenty to be had for 5-10 quid on amazon

The centre console storage box is just underneath the USB port. You only need a short cable.

In front of the gear stick, under the radio and climate control. There is also a storage box down there suitable for a phone. So you dont need a very long cable, probably 20cm max.
