Oil cap

Featured Replies

Looks like you have the 1.4 MPI? If so, you need one from a Felicia:

Note that the cap and seal are sold as two different part numbers, so if ordering from a local dealer make sure that you are getting both parts. The eBay link above is for a UK listing, not sure if they ship to Bulgaria, but I'm sure there will be local suppliers. I bought the one above myself last year, so it definitely fits the MK1 Skoda Fabia 1.4 MPI.

It's also worth knowing that the seal (047 103 487) on its own is surprisingly cheap from dealerships.  I bought one in the last week for 45p + VAT. (About 1.36 Lev as far as I can see)

I may have got a discount, but it makes little difference, it's still pennies.

I bought one this morning from Europarts, different engine though as I have a 1.2 HTP.

Mine is to replace one that appears to have come apart, plastic top half unscrews but the inner metal section is stuck in position, just need to work out how to get it out to replace it.

Luckily the oil has only just been replaced, so I have time to work it out.

Good luck.

That's the cap you'd use if the engine still had the plastic engine cover. If not using the engine cover it's the Felicia cap and seal you need as our friend wiredsoftware said.
