technically its not my local dealer... Marlborough Skoda is in Isleworth but we go between three... Withams, Marlborough and Willis we have picked up cars and serviced with all three according to what we're doing, prices and courtsey car availability.

Demo delivery depends on when it was built so ask your dealer for the build week number and add 4 weeks to get delivery week. We are expecting ours by the end of this week.

I am now working in a non-Skoda area of VWG so I can't tell you how the Demos are being allocated. But in my opinion by retailer in alphabetical order seems most unlikely.

Last year they were allocated by area, the Retailer Principals / Area Managers that got the contracts returned quickest got the first allocations. This is simply so the transport company will be delivering a lorry load of new vehicles all in the same area, not right across the country.

The cars are all likely sat at the port now waiting to go, nothing to do with build dates. The other factor that might affect delivery dates this time of year is total number of registrations, if Skoda UK are down on their target for the year they will rush the registrations through to bump up the total. However I don't think that wiull be a factor this year, Skoda are doing really well this year compared to last year.

very impressed with power , handling and build - a very nice car to drive with a far more practical interior

only negatives - IMHO the front of the seat base in a little too light coloured ( but seats far better ) , personally I think its a little too subtle and IMHO the price increase over the old model is too much but if thats the only critisism i make then its got to be good:cool:
