Service interval display reset that works

Featured Replies

I have tried all sorts of methods to do this, none worked and then I found this:

1 With ignition OFF

2 Press and hold RH 0.0  button

3 After 5 seconds, turn on ignition, still pressing 0.0 button

4 After another 5 seconds, release 0.0 button and press LH button and hold for 20 seconds

5  Release button and turn off ignition.

This worked for me, I will be interested to see  if it works for anyone else.

Bit late answer but have just taken over sons car, I used buttons as above but for 5 seconds on each button. Cleared service ok.

This will be my runabout car, main car Superb.

It really works! (2013 1.2tsi se)

This is the methods I deacribed ages ago on here as found in the user manual for the VW Jetta. Also states this methods in the new Haynes manual for the Fabia.
