This may be a stupidly awkward thing to attempt, but how difficult / possible is it to change the colour of the dash lights and instrument clusters to the blue / red of VW's? I had a VeeDub before and the colouring of the instrument panel was a lot more pleasant than the somewhat ageing shades of green.

This has been covered a couple of times, do a search and you'll find what you need. I seem to remember someone produced a guide for this??? Might be wrong on that one though.

It all depends on your soldering capabilities - they are surface mount LED's.
