Trunk Door Leaking

Featured Replies

Hello guys, škodamaniacs :D

As I've said in the title, my trunk door is letting some water in. Even when I wash my car. The water is coming trough the weatherstrip then trough the plastic and finally stops on my plastic sheet which covers the trunk (I drive the combi version). It's not a big problem but it bothers me. (I'm a perfectionist :D ) So I want to ask you, did anybody had similar problems with the trunk doors. I know about rear door water problems, but in my occasion i have problems with my trunk weatherstrip. So does anybody knows how to stop it? :D I mean it's not broken, it just leaks. Any help would be appreciated. With regards, Boslo. :D

Have you tried adjusting the catch hook? The bolts can be loosened slightly and it slid back a bit, which might help it seal a little tighter.

O' really? I didnt' tought abou that. :D I just know that it leaks from trunk, throught the plastic (which can be removed when you want to replace the antenna(if you know what I mean)). Thank you for that, I will try to see if it works as soon as possible. :D
