They say life goes in a series of circles.. Started in 2004 with the first Skoda  a Fabia Vrs, which after 30,000 miles and many upgrades I moved on to a Seat  LEON FR 2 litre diesel  Dsg of course,  although  good but not as much fun  as the Fabia. Vrs 190 Bhp

Changed then to a Seat Ibiza Cupra with the 1.4 twin charger. Expect everyone now knows the problems that was and did occur. with that engine.

. Changed to a Seat Mii sorry not a Citigo but the exchange was very good..But not quite exciting enough so changed  again   but this time to a Ford

Yes I know, have had all the comments about that, but it is a Fiesta St with a Mountune   220 bhp so can be forgiven..

And now would you believe ? Back with SKODA..  Slightly different requirements now will be picking up a 16 reg Fabia SE L Dsg. 110

Was very taken with the Dsg on the Ibiza Cupra probably the best part of that experience . Am looking forward to a relaxed left leg from now on.

Am pleased to return to Briskoda after such a holiday.. And a more relaxed kind of motoring. Front tyres only last 6000 miles on the St so will not miss that expense..

Hope Briskoda is   as informative as it was back in 2004-6

Last thing I did with the loss of the Vrs was to pass on free of charge a complete set of front disc brakes as suplus to foreseeable requirements.

I wonder if that member is still active...

After all once you have had a Skoda and joined Briskoda its hard to give it up.

Was known a JAKESBRAKES in a different life..

Happy days with trips down to Fratton Park ....
